Can I edit a pledge in crowdfunding?

Whether you can edit a pledge during a crowdfunding campaign depends on the campaign type and your payment method. This article explains how pledge editing works for Classic crowdfunding and Express crowdfunding.

Campaign type

• Classic crowdfunding - You can usually edit your pledge. The changes you can make depend on your payment method.
• Express crowdfunding - The creator may limit pledge editing. Contact the creator if you want to change your pledge.

Payment method

• Deferred payment - Indiegogo collects your payment after the campaign ends successfully. You can change the pledge contents and increase or decrease its total value.
• Instant payment - Indiegogo collects your payment when you place the pledge. You can change the pledge contents, but the new total must be equal to or higher than your original payment. Contact the creator if you want to reduce the pledge value.
