Using Official Badges and Logos for Social Media

This guide is designed to give you access to Indiegogo brand resources and provide light guidance for using them in your campaigns.

Promoting on Meta & Google Ads

Planning to promote your campaign on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) or Google Ads?

Here are a few general best practices to keep in mind:

  • Use short-form videos (ideally up to 15 seconds)
  • Showcase your product clearly and early
  • Include the Indiegogo logo
  • Add a clear call to action (CTA)

For Google Ads specifically:

  • Use strong, product-focused visuals
  • Make sure branding is clear, even in smaller formats
  • Test multiple variations (headlines, visuals, CTAs)

Static Graphics

General tips:

  • 1x1 / 9x16 / 4x5 formats.
  • Keep the product visible - place it centrally, keep it well-lit, and in high resolution.
  • Include a clear CTA (Call to Action) - short and direct, e.g. “Back Now”, “Learn More”.
  • Add the Indiegogo logo.
  • Keep Stretch Pay / Stable Pledge logos visible but not dominant.
  • Make sure all important elements stay within the safe zone for each format to prevent cropping.

Video Creatives

Duration: 10 seconds – 1 minute

Formats: 1x1 (1080×1080), 4x5 (1080×1350), 9:16 (1080×1920), 16:9 (1920×1080) – also accepted for video ads
