What are reserved funds?
Reserved funds are the amount the platform keeps in your confirmed balance between payouts. This reserve helps cover refunds and chargebacks.
The reserve remains part of your confirmed balance. The platform doesn’t move it to a separate account or freeze it.
Note: The reserve doesn’t guarantee a future payout. Refunds and chargebacks can reduce your balance.
Where can I check my payout reserve?
To check your current reserve:
- Open your project’s creator dashboard.
- Go to Finance > Payouts.
- Find Reserve in the balance summary.
The summary also shows your Confirmed balance, payout Schedule, and Next payout.
How does the reserve affect my payouts?
Only funds above your reserve amount can contribute to your next payout.
For example, if your confirmed balance is €10,000 and your reserve is €500, the amount above your reserve is €9,500.
If your confirmed balance is equal to or below your reserve, there are no funds above the reserve available for payout.
Who manages my payout reserve?
The platform automatically calculates your reserve as 5% of your project’s net payment volume from the last 6 months. You can check the amount in Finance > Payouts, but you can’t change it.
How does my reserve work?
Your reserve equals 5% of your project’s net payment volume from the last 6 months. The amount adjusts to your project’s recent payment activity.
The platform calculates it using this formula:
Reserve = net payment volume from the last 6 months × 5%
Net payment volume reflects payments, refunds, payment cancellations, and chargeback handling transactions during that period.
When does the amount change?
The platform recalculates your reserve every week before weekly payouts.
Each calculation uses your project’s payment activity from the most recent 6 months, so your reserve can increase or decrease over time. If your net payment volume is zero or negative, the platform sets your reserve to zero.
