Preparing and launching late pledge and/or pledge manager

NOTE: This article refers to projects crowdfunded on Indiegogo. If you have an externally crowdfunded project for which you intend to launch a late pledge/pledge manager, please proceed here.

Once your campaign is funded, you can start working on the next stages of your project. Go to the project dashboard to choose the next stage. You can launch a late pledge stage or a pledge manager.

Late Pledge setup

This is an optional stage. Here you collect pledges after funding your campaign without defining shipping costs and collecting shipping details from your backers. You don't have to use this stage; you can move on directly to the pledge manager. Remember there is a 15-day gap between the end of crowdfunding and the potential late pledge launch.

To open the late pledge stage, you need to go through our checklist. Adding proper information will enable the "submit for launch" button, and we'll verify your setup. If anything's missing, we'll let you know. Once the review is approved, you will be able to launch the late pledge.

Pledge Manager setup

This is the final stage of the project. Here, backers can make the final choice on their products, provide shipping details, and pay any outstanding fees (such as shipping fee or the amount for any extra products they added).

When you launch the late pledge stage, you can start working on the pledge manager that will be launched later on. However, if you want to open the pledge manager right after crowdfunding and skip the late pledge stage, go to the project dashboard, choose "Set up pledge manager," and complete all the required steps:

NOTE: If you launch the pledge manager immediately after crowdfunding, it won't be possible to open the late pledge stage. If you launch the late pledge first, you still have to launch the pledge manager later.

Review & Launching Pledge Manager/Late Pledge

Once your project is verified and accepted by our team, you can launch the late pledge/pledge manager:
