Project settings and editing the project

To edit your project, go to project settings. Click the tool button in the top right corner and choose the project you want to edit. You’ll be transferred to the project dashboard. Click "Project settings" in the top right corner of the dashboard.
On the left, you’ll have a menu with all available settings.
In the "General" section, you can change the basic settings, such as the project name and categories. Here, you can also edit the thumbnail, cover image, and social media image of the project. You can also set the launch and end date for the campaign.
In "Project details" you have 5 sections:
  • About - here, you can add a short description and general information about the project. It is displayed below the project title:

  • Gallery - here, you can add the pictures or videos that will be displayed as the main graphics on the project page (each stage of the project can have different images/videos).
  • Detailed description - here, you can add sections with descriptions that will be used to navigate on your project page - each section header is a point on the navigation list. Some sections are required depending on the stage of the project, but you can freely add as many sections as you want and change their positions.
  • Follower gifts - here, you can add a gift for backers following your campaign before the launch.
  • Project timeline - an element/section of every page that aims to make sure backers understand what happens when, and what's the current stage of every project. It highlights all project phases, with extra focus on the current state and the next step. Creators can set all dates, move it anywhere within the project page (in Detailed description) and provide additional information about the timing.
"Stretch goals" - Here, you can add automatic or manual stretch goals for your campaign.
"Communication" - You can manage your contact address, set a launch image, or add a custom thank-you message to backers.
"Stretch Pay" - You can enable and set up details for the Stretch Pay feature.
"Orders" - Here, before crowdfunding, you can decide on whether you wish to enable pledges with add-ons only. Later on, you will control the late pledge/pledge manager status and pledge availability here.
"Shipping & taxes" - Before crowdfunding, you can verify and adjust tax rates for various locations. Before and during the pledge manager, you can set up and manage shipping options and their costs here.
"Business account details" - Here, depending on your legal entity type, you can add the required business or individual data.
"Analytics and tracking" You can add tracking tools IDs (such as Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics).
"Testing" You can invite testers who can test your project.
